Isn't Life Rich?
Well, we did it. Our life can finally begin. whew!

Our life has been on hold for 5 years (almost to the day). John lost his eye 5 years ago and has been fighting a workman's comp case every since. It is finally over. Papaer are signed and the t's are crossed (no longer our fingers). I don't have to worry when (not if) the eviction notice will be here or when the power is going to get cut. No more.. YES!!! I personally, am just glad it is over and our life can start.

It has been a long time of suffering and waiting. We pick up the check in about 2 weeks (a check that most normal people work 3 years of their life for, still trying to get used to the amount) and we'll be ready to rock. Soo many things will be going on then. IRL will get a new face lift.. giving irl more 'channels' with their own chatrooms, it will be so sweet. Promo items for the djs, tshirts, we're goin all out. We will finally be able to have the money to pay a company to make the telethon cds and get them out of our hair (thank gawd). Life will be grand.

I'm working a little bit with Christopher J Wray http://www.cjwray.com . He is a brilliantly talented ambient artist who wil knock the socks of people with his up coming album and I am so proud to have the chance to be apart of it. Something I've always wanted to do was be part of the creative process of a piece of music. I whispered words for him on one other song, Ambient Sphere IV, but this will be a lot more, I am really looking forward to it.

I wrote a couple peoms today while I was doing laundrey. They will be on http://merrick1230.deviantart.com/ and I may give them to the poetry company who has already published me, who knows what will happen with them.

1. Don't go to the laundry mat in skate as you might roll over a puddle of detergant, slip and fall.
2. Leave all animals at home while washing clothes at the laundry mat.
