My worth... is NOTHING

'NOTHING" shouldn't hurt... why do I? I've never thought of myself as NOTHING until today. I always thought I was worth something to someone, at least a little... but I've been made to see the light, I AM NOTHING!

What can you do with 'nothing'?... Can you poke a stick at it? Can you touch it? Can you hear it? Can you smell it? Can you taste it? Can you love it? Can you cherish and protect it? No... you can't. You can only do NOTHING with it.

At least I know I'm not hated... you cant hate 'nothing'... But then the question arises in my nothingness head.. Is it better to be hated than be 'nothing'? At least hate is an emotion... "nothing" is NOTHING.

My new motto:: "Nothing is, as nothing does."

Kathi,

I think you're a wonderful, sensitive, beautiful, intelligent and one of the MOST caring people I've EVER known. To open your heart up to so many people as you have, shows me the endless depth of your beauty. One of the songs that I hear on IRL, Serena Matthew's song 'Beauty Colors' makes me think of you. Simply because you accept people for who they are and the way they are. You expect nothing more than what they show you. Yet you show them no less love for it. The world is a much better place...because of people like you. And I love ya for it!

Im better... I was in such a dark, dark place that day and a few days that followed. But it was bound to happen sooner or later, I couldnt keep up with the pace I had set for myself and I was pushing those that I loved away.

Im always the one to help people out and give advice when they ask or I think they need it... but I could never be my own psychotherapist. I needed that dark place so I could see the light in my life. I know that now and I am better and stronger for it. Im making changes in my life.

((Maggie))), I think you are just as good at this psychotherapy stuff than I am. Thank YOU. 'thank you' doesnt seem enough... but your words mean so much to me. I appreciate and love you for seeing ME.

I don't know you very well, but I really seriously doubt that you are nothing. Whatever happened to make you feel that way, I hope it gets resolved soon.

Gwydi, thank you. And yes, I am resolving my life, and it feels great to do so. Im sorry you had to read a very dark moment in my life, but even the happiest person has their moments :)
